Creation resembles capturing lightning in a tempest. Those seemingly capricious trails of watermarks are in fact encrypted dialogues between water molecules and plant fibers, a wrestling ring of gravity and surface tension. When the brush touches the waterlogged substrate, I become merely a gardener sowing seeds at the edge of chaos, allowing aqueous pigments to grow autonomously through the gullies of cotton paper. This creative process is akin to catching raindrops with bare hands—one must learn to maintain a precarious equilibrium between control and surrender.
This exhibition presents not merely visual outcomes, but archaeological slices of material transmutation. Each piece is a diary jointly inscribed by specific humidity, temperature, and time—a specimen of mutual domestication between liquid and solid states. As viewers approach these canvases still undergoing molecular choreography, they may hear tidal whispers emerging from the depths of the fabric—a testament to water stains narrating their role as co-conspirators, not mere tools, in the act of creation.
